Motorleaf Inc. announces today that its Board of Directors asked Alastair Monk, CEO, and Ramen Dutta, CTO, both founders of the company, to withdraw from their respective positions. The Directors want to thank both Ally and Ramen for their contribution in taking Motorleaf to where it is today: a leader in developing cutting-edge greenhouse technology and artificial intelligence technology for harvest yield prediction and crop disease scouting services.
Scott Dickson Dagondon, the third co-founder and Director of Artificial Intelligence, is carrying on and pursuing our ambitious AI development plans. A search for a new Chief Executive Officer has already started to take Motorleaf to the next level and to build the company with the help of a great team of data scientists, software developers, marketers and client service personnel.
Until the appointment of a new CEO, the management team will ensure the smooth continuity of all operations and high-quality customer services. To support the management team, the Board has created a special committee of four Directors and investors to assist in the development, operations and finance of Motorleaf. The committee will be led by Mr. Alexander Meyer-Scharenberg (Director at FluxUnit).
Mr. Meyer-Scharenberg said: ‘’ I am very pleased with the high level of interest that we have generated from greenhouse growers in European, North American and Asian markets. We have traction with clients on four continents and signing more every month. I strongly believe that this company we invested in last year will revolutionize greenhouses.’’
